About Me

Hi, I’m Reed, a sports photographer with a passion for capturing the intensity, emotion, and split-second moments that define the game. Whether it’s the energy of the rink, the focus before a play, or the celebration after a goal, I aim to tell each athlete’s story through my lens. My goal is to turn fast-paced action into lasting images that showcase the heart and drive behind every sport. I am a high school student based in Newburyport MA, and go to school in Newport RI for the majority of the year.  I am a free lance photographer who shoots a wide variety of sports and other things.

Sailing

Sailing has been a passion of mine since I moved to the East Coast. In the spring and fall, I race with one of the top sailing programs in the country at St. George’s School in Newport, RI. The previous two years, I raced with Piscatiqua Youth Sailing Association in the spring and fall and have won their regatta every year it's happened. Last summer, I joined the Ipswich Junior Sailing Race Team and competed in regattas with them all summer, as well as some others, and I am part of their shadow program to become an instructor. I also race Lasers in a weekend series out of American Yacht Club in Newburyport, Massachusetts.

Hockey

I've been passionate about hockey ever since I first laced up my skates at six years old. Over the years, the sport has taught me discipline, teamwork, and resilience both on and off the ice. Currently, I play defense for the North Suburban Wings, where I continue to grow my skills, face new challenges, and build lasting friendships with my teammates. Hockey isn't just a game to me, "it's a key part of who I am"

Lacrosse

I absolutely love playing lacrosse goalie. It’s such an exciting and challenging position that really pushes me to stay focused and sharp. I played for the New England Twisters, where I had the chance to grow and develop my skills alongside some amazing teammates. Currently, I play for the Newburyport Select Team. Some people may call me brave, taking balls to the shins for fun, but for me, it’s just pure fun.  Being in goal is always so much fun, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything!
